      John Moon, MD, is Board-certified in General Surgery. He holds a dual doctorate in medicine and doctorate in philosophy in oral maxillofacial surgery as well as a doctorate in dental surgery. He also holds a master’s degree in pathology. He completed a General Surgery residency at the State University of New York and a Bariatric/Advanced Laparoscopic Minimally Invasive Surgery fellowship at Staten Island University Hospital.Â
