We contacted Mike to help us buy a home in the Boise area. We moved from Utah, so we didn't know the area at all. We had a short time frame and really only one day to look at houses. He worked with us before our house hunting trip to figure what we were looking for. When we arrived, he showed us 20+ houses in one day! We are exploring where we would like to retire and decided that we might want to check out the Boise area as an option in the near future. We contacted Michael who responded quite quickly to my request. I told him what our ideas were in regards to retirement and scoping out different areas. He told us if ever wanted to come to Boise to let him know and he would give us a tour of the city and the surrounding areas to the city so we could get a lay of the land. Mike is the best Real Estate Agent I have ever worked with! He came prepared to our first meeting with a complete market analysis of what the home was worth and offered recommendations to enhance the property to realize full value. This was an estate sale and I live in another state which presented logistical challenges. Mike coordinated the selection of contractors and managed the repair/cleanup process for me. He also kept me informed throughout the process. Mike truly went "above and beyond" what most agents will do for client. Even better, Mikes recommendations which were not expensive and resulted in a fast sale at 99% of the listing price. Mike has unbelievable follow-through and his word is gold. Mike Edgar is an excellent realtor. I work for a title insurance company, in which I work with real estate agents on a regular basis, and Mike is truly a cut above. He was exceedingly responsive, smart, and loyal. For example, our lender made some mistakes, and Mike was quick to help the lender understand the right way to do things. Without Mike involved our closing would have been delayed at least a week, and probably longer. When we have a friend who is looking to buy or sell a home, Mike will be the first realtor we recommend.
