Kuhn Employment Opportunities is a non-profit organization that supports individuals with disabilities to participate in community employment through assessment, job development, on-the-job training and on-the-job supports. The organization works with more than 300 people annually. Participants of Kuhn Employment Opportunities have developmental disabilities, mental illness and physical disabilities, most often from traumatic injury. The organization assists individuals with all levels of developmental disabilities to participate in employment experiences through group and individual supported employment opportunities in community work enclaves and independent work sites. Other individuals served participate only in job assessments and individual program planning. Kuhn Employment Opportunities is located in Meriden, Conn.
