Woodland Place is a nonprofit organization located in Mercer, Pa. It offers 24-hour nursing care by registered and licensed practical nurses and certified nursing assistants. It provides physical, occupational and speech therapies. It offers various services, such as pharmacy, social and recreational, beautician, religious, housekeeping and laundry. It offers restorative nursing care, physician s services and medication management. It also provides resident and family counseling and education. Its Auxiliary was established in the 1960 as a volunteer organization to maintain the quality of life for residents. The Auxiliary operates a lobby shop for residents and visitors where they can purchase snacks and gifts. It organizes various fundraising events and ice cream socials.
