They did not stand behind their product. My wife and I purchased a sofa and within 1 to 1 1/2 months the fabric pressed down in spots losing its "fluffiness". We purchased in October 2018 and finally in February 2019 after many calls and chasing the manager by phone I called and was a little less than polite. Within a day the manufacturer was suddenly on record that the issue was "normal" wear and tear.

My family and I have been buying all our furniture at minervas since the early 90's. Every time we have needed furniture they are our to go furniture store. Service is always warm like family. You don't get warm & friendly service anymore at any business. Here you will. I have recommended them over the years to my friends and family,and they have all had a pleasant experience. We have never had any issues with any the purchases. Everything we have bought has been of great quality at a reasonable price.

I picked out a sectional living room set this Wednesday, at their Merced store. It looks to be very sturdy and well made. I picked up my furniture the next day, and I walked in to take another look at what I had purchased. The sales guy walked me to it, and I told him I didn't want that sectional, because of the way the seats were molded, it just looked like it would be uncomfortable to lay on. He proceeded to tell me that that would not be an issue, because he layed on it all the time and it was fine Unfortunately, I went ahead and took it, thinking maybe he was right. My family and I tried it out and my family hates it, so I asked if I could return it, well, after several holds while he talked to his sister, I was told that yeah, we'll take it back, but it will cost you 343 dollars restocking fee. I tried to get him to lower the fee, not take it away, just lower it, since I haven't had it for 24 hours yet, and he flat out told me no, that's the chance you take, so take it or leave it cause that's all we can do for you. Of course I'm going to have to keep it, because who wants to pay a 343 dollar fee?

But it seems to me they could have worked with me, to make sure they didn't lose and that I was happy with my purchase You know that Macys gives you a 30 day return option and no fee if you do, and that's on their mattresses!

I will have to keep this sectional, but man, I will never buy from them again! So disappointed.

They are new to Merced and I needed furniture. There store it huge! The selection, and prices are very reasonable. I looked at a couple other places and the prices were ridiculous. They will help you with a smile! Nice sales people! I bought a couple of chairs, and a furniture set! I've been getting many compliments on my stuff. I'm definitely coming back for the rest of my house. If you need furniture come here, YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!!!
