Adventure Mendota offers unguided kayak rentals on the North Fork of the Holston River in Mendota, Virginia. Reservations are required. Our mellow, scenic river (Class I) and high-quality kayaks promise you about two and 1/2 hours of relaxing "river time." No prior kayaking experience is required. Your five-river-mile trip is unguided and will take you away from roads and cell phones. Adventure Mendota is a family-owned business and is alcohol free. Clean, indoor restrooms.
