Founded in 1946, W.M. Barr & Company Inc. operates three divisions: Home Improvement Products, Automotive Refinishing Products and Custom Blending & Packaging Services. Together the divisions manufacture and market chemical removers and solvents, paint sundries, cleaners and protectants. The company sells its products under the Klean Strip, Citristrip, Armor All Home Care and HouseBrite brand names, which are available at home center, hardware and discount stores throughout the U.S. It is headquartered in Memphis, Tenn.
