Founded in 2001, St. George s Independent School is a coeducational institution that prepares students for a life of learning and meaningful contribution through Christian values. It serves more than 100 students in grades prekindergarten through five. The school is accredited by the Southern Association of Independent Schools and Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. St. George s Independent School s academic curriculum includes subjects, such as fine arts, mathematics, science and social studies. It operates a counseling center that offers information on scholarship programs. In addition, the school provides a range of sports activities, such as soccer, basketball, golf, swimming, softball, baseball, tennis, and track and field. St. George s Independent School offers several after-school and summer programs. It is located in Memphis, Tenn.
