Newberry Elementary School has an annual enrollment of more than 550 students in kindergarten through grade five. It is a part of Memphis City Schools, which is one of the largest school systems in Tennessee and employs more than 16,500 employees, including over 8,000 teachers. Newberry Elementary School offers educational classes in various subjects, such as speech, language arts, math, science, social studies, music, art, reading and physical education. In addition, it offers a variety of programs, including before- and after-school child care, tutoring, guitar and strings classes and cheerleader squad.
