      General Info
      Our office hours are 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Tuesday through Friday. The museum is open Tuesday through Saturday, 12:00 to 4:00 PM. We are a historic house museum - the oldest home in Shelby County. We offer docent-led tours and walking tours to visitors and school groups. In addition to our historic grounds, we have a 6,000 square foot converted barn and reception hall called Hillwood. We host many beautiful weddings each year, as our grounds and lit barn provide a beautiful backdrop for a rustic Southern wedding. Call for an appointment to tour our facilities if you are interested in booking an event.
