This is one of those consummate professionals who has likely forgotten more than most vets in town will ever know. His gift with animals is evident at every turn. My own cats go instantly from determined-to-escape-at-all-costs-scaredy-cats to calm, stoic, brave young lions -- even willing to be herded if that's what he want of them. He will scold you soundly if you are doing anything against your pets' best interests, but he is boundlessly patient and kind towards the animals. Like all his clients, I dread the day when he retires. My cats and I are lucky to have known this wonderful man -- and his assistant is wonderful as he is.

I Love Dr Mattice! I grew up with my parents taking our pets to him, and now as an adult I do the same. Extremely affordable, especially for low income students. Love love love him.

Dr. Mattice is an excellent veternarian. His fees are reasonable and he won't recommend any unnecessary treatment. His only concern is your pet. If he doesn't like what you're doing, he'll tell you and offer alternatives. His assistant is a warm hearted person and very helpful. She remembers us and our pets, as does Dr. Mattice. He's been our vet since 1999. He was recommended by my brother who also thinks very highly of Dr. Mattice and his care.

I also really like this place. They are cheaper then a lot of vets because it's only the doctor and his assistant. I had to pick my dog up and put her on the table and hold her while she got shots but I had a very enjoyable experience overall. I will only go to this vet from now on. My mother recommended it to me.

Dr. Mattice has a calming touch, a gentle manner, excellent experience and a relaxed personable demeanor. His assistant is a lovely young woman and his fees are quite reasonable.
