This practice took over my family physician's office in Southaven MS. So....I tried them out. I wanted to get a sinus cocktail shot. First of all....I can hear the front desk calling my insurance co. to verify coverage....and they asked the balance on my health savings account. they were obv. denied that info...so they asked me what the balance was. I gave her an estimate....why do they need to know.!?! Then they asked the Dr. (or nurse pract)....how much they should charge me. I can hear all of this and I'm glad. I'm sorry...are we negotiating a car deal?? When they gave me a price surprisingly close to what I gave as my hsa balance....I left. They wanted hundreds of dollars for this shot. Horribly run. antiquated ( they dont have an email address to send insurance forms to). Waste of time and a totally unethical practice.
