My dad had been having throat issues for about a week & I even took him to the ER because his symptoms kept worsening and they couldn’t figure out what was wrong. I decided to take him to an ENT and found ENT & Allergy Associates and it was the best choice I made. They were able to give me an appointment within 2 days with Dr. Gehani. He then took his time examining my dad and gave a few options as to what it could be but sent him for stat testing to make sure. We were back in the office in 2 days and was able to diagnose my dad & start him on his treatment. I am so thankful to Dr. Gehani, he has been amazing through this whole process. He is very knowledgeable & listens to what you have to say & makes you feel comfortable. And of course the office staff is great, very friendly & caring.

The provider was very good .he listened to what I said and came up with a answer to my problem.
Dr. Gehani listens first to the patient's concerns and then clearly gathers more information. He patiently explains everything he is doing during the exam, both the procedure and his observations. He thoroughly summarizes the exam and discussion at the end of the appointment. His oral comments are consistent with his written summary.
Dr. Gehani has a pleasant manner and makes the patient relaxed and confident.
This is my second time seeing Dr. Gehani. I think he is very nice and always takes the time to listen. I like that he is thorough and doesn’t rush you.

- Neal C. Gehani, MD, a Diplomate of the American Board of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery, earned his medical degree with distinction in research at Albany Medical College, in Albany, NY. He then completed his internship in General Surgery and received his residency training in Otolaryngology, at University Hospitals of Cleveland-Case Medical Center, in Cleveland, OH. Dr. Gehani, Board certified in Otolaryngology, offers adult and pediatric patients a full breadth of ear, nose and throat services.Dr. Gehani, who hails from Nassau County, spent the past several years practicing outside of Boston, where his wife was completing a residency and fellowship training program. Now, after successfully serving patient needs in the areas of adult and pediatric Otolaryngology as well as Rhinology, Otology and Laryngology, he is returning to his roots, and offering his expert care to residents of his native Long Island.
