I have nothing but trouble with them they over charge I ask them to make sure every thing is paid up an bill is always more then what they tell me on next bill I am switching an never going back don't need that headache anymore good luck .

I have had Armstrong Cable for the past 10+ years and have a few problems. BUT, those problems are small ones and handled my their help desk, usually talking to their people. except a cable box replacement. The only service that is missing would be able to fax documents that need signatures on them, and there could be a problem reporting troubles if I do have their package. So I have to have security, and voice lines wired conventionally. My folks have a different cable service and the weather will short it out, and they usually don't fix the problem till the next day and longer on weekends unless the problem is in an area and a number of customers calling. their facilities are LOCAL and not hiding away off the road with their dish antennas are in the back of their building, Their 800 help desk is pleasant and do their best making sure the problem is fixed, My history with them is exceptionally good and am glad to say they are my cable service

My personal experience with Armstrong cable has been horrible. I have been lied to by the customer service reps. on a few occasions. They treat you rather nicely when you are a new customer, and later treat as if you are not important. Zoom internet is slow and expensive. Currently, I have been waiting a good portion of the day for them to send a tech out to reconnect my cable, as he mistakenly shut mine off. They had no intention on crediting my account for a day until I spent much time on the phone arguing with a supervisor. If I were to "mistakenly" short them a few dollars on their payment I am sure a simple apology would not keep the late payment fee off my bill. I suppose they can treat customers this way when they are the only cable option.

Worst internet service and speed!! 3 months now they have had a speed issue that they can not (or will not) correct. Currently i am paing for the 15mb download speed and im only receiving between <1mb to maybe 6mb (mostly averages 3-4mb). Please do your homework and check your speed daily to be sure you are getting what you are paying for. Use this speed test address because it will send the speed result to Armstrong so when you have to complain they will have a record of the speed. Pase this in address bar and run test: speedtest.zoominternet.net. I live in Boardman, Ohio YOUNGSTOWN OHIO service area and they are not delivering the promised speed you are paying for. Please complain otherwise they will get away with charging you for 6mb and delivering 1mb, 10mb you get 2mb and 15mb and you get 3-4mb.

Our family had been with Armstrong Cable and we tried Dish Network what a mistake. Armstrong customer services especial the tech support is the best I have encountered, they should be the standard for all other industries. Kerry Moore
