GMP International Union is one of the United States most historic unions. It traces its origins to 1842 as the old Glass Bottle Blowers Association. Other organizations merged into the present GMP International Union traced their origins to the 19th century. Its membership includes approximately 51,000 men and women in many lines of work. The scope of industries it represents includes fine china, glass and plastic containers, insulation and sanitary ware. GMP International Union is located in Media, Pa.
