Grace Christian School, founded by Carl Scott and the First Baptist Church, serves the educational needs of more than 1,000 students in Medford, Ore. Grace Christian offers academic programs for children in prekindergarten through grade 12. The school is accredited by the state of Oregon, Association of Christian Schools International, Northwest Association of Accredited School and Oregon Teachers Standards and Practices Commission. It features more than 30 classrooms, specialty rooms, fully equipped gymnasium, art and vocal music room, family resource and media center, computer and science laboratory, chapel, and multipurpose cafeteria. Grace Christian s curriculum includes mathematics, English, science, foreign languages, history, geography, economics, phonics, physical and health education, music, and arts and crafts. The school also offers courses in computer, agricultural and technical education, and Bible and business studies.
