Welcome to CollVest Coins! Rare Coins for the COLLector and InVESTor! Like many others who enjoy collecting US coins, as well as purchasing certain coins for their investment potential, my excitement began at a young age. As time went by, the excitement grew into a passion and as income allowed, I began investing in certain coins while continuing to grow and upgrade my personal collection. I have been involved in the acquisition, sale and consignment of many common and rare coins for collectors and investors, working primarily within a small coin-dealer network, for over 30 years. For a few years in the early 1980's, I enjoyed a rare opportunity to work for a well known rare coin company, where one of my responsibilities was to travel around the country attending various coin shows for the purpose of finding and acquiring coins for their collector and investor clients. This journey has allowed me to meet many wonderful and fascinating people. I have also been fortunate enough to work with and alongside some important figures in the industry. As of March, 2011, I moved from a business office location and opened a small retail store where people are welcome to come in and browse. I also decided to produce this website to provide similar opportunities to browse and obtain coins you may be looking for. As time and energy allow, more inventory will be posted.
