Entered into a contract to purchase a new boat from them exchanged numerous emails and phone calls. We finally came to agreed-upon price and they took a deposit via credit card from me. The plan was set in motion that I was going to come up the next week to complete the purchase. After five days the finance manager calls me and tells me they will not complete the deal as a negotiated the deal too well and they would go in the hole with this purchase. Explain to them that they took my deposit as well as having written confirmation of the agreed-upon price. I even spoke to the manager and ask him if he realized he would be losing a customer for life with following through with this and he stated that he did not care.
At this point we are getting the attorney generals office involved as they made a deal, I have purchased a boat lift and other necessary things. This is a highly unethical business.
