Everything was delicious, service was excellent. Very pleased with the experience.

I consider myself a judgmental when it comes to eating out. I have to give 5 stars to Black-N-Bleu. I've been there several times, never disappointed. I like the menu, it has a variety for me to chose from. Most other places, I struggle with finding something that I even want. I recommend trying the Calamari Rhode island style. The atmosphere is casual and friendly. Only negative thing that I can add is you need to make a reservation or you will be waiting in a cramped foyer.

Just left this restaurant. Sat there for over 20 minutes with no service whatsoever after being seated. The place was not even half full. Every server walked past us, several times. None of them stopped to take a drink order or appetizer order. Not even a glass of water...not even a hello...not even acknowledgement that we existed. After watching all the tables around us get served, we had enough and walked out. Less than ten minutes later we have drinks at our table and an appetizer ordered at another restaurant.

A parent of an athlete of mine wanted to take the coaching staff (2 people) out for dinner the night before our competition to show appreciation. We stumbled on Black and Bleu on the Internet and thought we'd give it a try. I'm so glad we did! The food was fantastic. I had the black and bleu NY strip steak, the other coach had the dry rubbed short ribs, the parent had the lump crab cakes, and the athlete had the seafood Newburg pasta. All are recommended.

I can't say I was expecting much from a restaurant in a strip mall, but the decor was comfortable. It was easy to have a conversation and your senses weren't on overload. Our waitress was Nicole. Whe was very amenable to our questions and silliness. 2 big thumbs up for her and the restaurant!

I don't know when we'll be back in the area, but I know where we'll get some dinner when we do go back.
