The Meadows Place Police Department is a law enforcement agency that is responsible for the prevention of crime, protection of life and property, and maintenance of law and order. The department maintains a team of more than 15 full-time officers that serves the community through patrol, traffic enforcement, investigations and community service. It conducts neighborhood watch program, which is a well-organized group of citizens that encourages residents to assist police department. The department operates a communication center that provides emergency and nonemergency information and communication services to various local, state and federal agencies. The Meadows Place Police Department is a part of city of Meadows Place, Texas, which also operates other departments, such as code enforcement, parks and recreation and public works.
