Established in 1928, Western Oregon Waste is a family-owned solid waste collection and transportation company and serves clients in McMinnville and Warrenton, Ore. It recycling services include collection of bottles and jars, cans, plastic, papers, scrap metalsand cardboards. The company operates a recovery zone that provides disposal services for newspapers, magazines, motor oil, car batteries and electronic equipment, including computers, VCRs, printers and stereos. Western Oregon Waste employs more than 125 people that include office and clerical workers, customer service representatives, mechanics, equipment operators and drivers. It also provides carts and garbage containers, compactors and drop boxes on rental basis commercial purposes.
