- The practice is called Comprehensive Pain Consultants. Dr Ebeid will treat patients with severe headaches, cancer pain, back and neck pain, and pain from injuries and car accidents. “My approach is to try to engage patients to help them improve their quality of life,” explains Dr. Ebeid. “I offer them ways to control their pain, including medications, injections and the process of rehabilitation. It’s a step at a time, and everything combined together allows patients to get the most pain relief.” Since 2008 Dr. Ebeid has been medical director for the Pain Management Services and Comprehensive Pain Center in Salem, Oregon. Before that he spent six years as medical director of New England Pain Institute with offices in Rhode Island and Massachusetts. Dr. Ebeid earned his General Certificate of Education at Cambridge University and studied medicine at Cairo University. He completed residencies at Cairo University Hospitals; Nassau County Medical Center in East Meadow, New York; and Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois. He also completed pain fellowships at Stanford University and the University of Michigan. When he’s not working, Dr. Ebeid enjoys traveling and other activities with his wife and three children.
