Established in 1874, Follett Library Resources is one of several Follett Corporation operating companies. The company is a supplier of books and audiovisual materials to K-12 schools. In 1940, Garth Follett founded the Follett Library Book Company to specialize in books for K-12 schools. In 1994, the Follett Library Book Company was renamed Follett Library Resources to better reflect the growing realm of products and services available to its customers. These products and services include an inventory of K-12 books, e-books, audiovisual materials and electronic ordering, first available through the company s TITLEWAVE CD-ROM systems and then through its TITLEWAVE Internet resource. Follett Library Resources is headquartered in McHenry, Ill.
