      Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church in McHenry, IL, is a friendly community of worshipers seeking to present the gospel and illuminate God's saving grace. Through the Word of the Bible and the Sacrament, we learn more about the God of love. We welcome you to enjoy all of the fellowship opportunities we have to offer as you take your spiritual journey. We pride ourselves on being a church that cares. Visitors are always welcome! We are pleased to provide a loving and open atmosphere for all. From choir and bells to community outreach, we have a special place for everyone to grow in faith. In addition to our Sunday services at 8 a.m., 9:15 a.m., and 10:45 a.m., we also offer: • Bible study and Saturday services • Youth ministries • Preschool, before-school, and after-school programs • Women's ministries • Music ministries • Homeless and food pantry missions We also host a weekly recovery group meeting, Weight Watchers gatherings, and a sewing circle.
