Founded in 1895, Montini Catholic School serves over 550 students in preschool through grade eight. Its academic curriculum includes various subjects, such as social studies, language arts, mathematics, science and reading. The school offers several religion classes, as well as mass and prayer services. Montini Catholic School features a student council that sponsors various fundraisers, talent shows, field days and special activities. It also provides a variety of athletic activities, such as volleyball and basketball. The school additionally operates a parents association and features a recycle team that assists custodians in collecting recycled items. Montini Catholic School maintains a presence in McHenry, Ill.
