This place rocks. The Recruiters practically bent over backwards and help beyond belief. I walked in and was prepared and knew what I wanted to do and they helped me achieve my dream of serving my country.

A friend and I visited this station to inquire about her daughter's possible recruitment. At first we were ignored. When we asked for the recruiter, he finally came to us and gave us some information. We discussed for him to call my friend's daughter and set an appointment which he did. The only problem is that not only he stood her up but has not called to apologize and or re schedule. We are a military family, consequently we have experienced the recruitment process before. We have never experienced this lackadaisical approach to it.

If you are truly interested in becoming a soldier in the US Army, please consider using another recruiting station. My husband made several attempts to enlist with this recruiting station, and they were very lazy in their efforts to assist with his entry (MEPS, ASVAB, etc.). I knew something was amiss with this and suggested he try another career center. It was obvious this McDonough center lacked, in my opinion, the mover and shaker quality that you would expect from those dedicated in their career. Then again, they are government employs! My husband went to another career center and was given a date to ship out within the week. Wow! I knew we couldn't have been the only ones experiencing this less than motivated type attitude. I've recently heard from others that they've too encountered the same response. At lease they treat all their new recruits the same way! If you want a timely entry into the service (US Army), please save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else!
