Northwest Elementary, located in McDermott, Ohio, is affiliated with the Northwest Local School District. It has an enrollment of more than 750 students and offers its curriculum for students in grades kindergarten through five. The various subjects offered include English, language arts, mathematics, science history, geography and social studies. In addition, the school offers foreign language, music, art and computer application classes. The facilities of the school include a library, music and arts rooms and a computer laboratory. It also provides food services at its cafeteria. Northwest Elementary s first grade students have packed many shoeboxes containers with a variety of gifts for the Operation Christmas Child, a global outreach project of the regional church.
