Founded in 1977, District One EMS is a volunteer organization that provides emergency basic life support, care and transportation services. Its staff assists more than 5,000 residents in Black Earth and Mazomanie, Wis. The organization s skilss include albuterol, glucagon, epinephrine, advanced airway and defibrillation. District One EMS is directed by six appointed board members. It has a staff if over 50 volunteers.
