This is by far the best campground there is! Speaking as someone who is there every weekend, I can honestly and without a doubt say that the owners, staff, and the rest of the permanent campers are awesome (weekenders are the bomb too!)!! Prices are super reasonable and you can't get a better drink anywhere! Haters gonna hate - come visit us and see for yourself!! CHEERS!

A wonderful place to be a permanent camper or for just the weekend! The owners and staff are the best you could ask for at any campground. I have been there for 12+ yrs and love it, it's really to bad that people who have been asked to leave because of the trouble they bring on themselves would talk badly about the great owners of Macs Park Place. Come see for yourself and you will be back!

For the record to all who do not know. This campground and its owners are simply amazing. My wife and I have camped here for 5 years and this is our little slice of heaven. The review posted by Lea W. was simply out of spite from a disgruntled former camper unwilling to take ownership of their own reckless behavior! Come check Mac's out and see for yourself. You will not regret it!!!

They pick and chose with whom they will enforce their flexible rules...you really have to be in their clik, they will fleece you for every penny they can. It's a shame, it used to be a fun and friendly place on a beautiful property.

I can not say enough about this place. They are tucked away behind a gate and there is farmland before you get to the gate. Do not think you are in the wrong place and your GPS is correct. At the manned gate there is a bar. Only campers can use the bar or fish. They put a wrist band on you to make sure of that. When you get in you are greeted by the Zumbro River Dam as well as electric sites and tent sites. The water was wonderful for swimming and fishing, and not to crowded. In the evening the music from the live DJ starts, the bar has a deck in the back for this. on a side note, the bar also has free shower stalls in the restrooms. We felt like we were at home and no one treated us differently. Up on a rise in the back you will find more permanent motor home sites.. with a view of the dam. We will be returning repeatedly to this place. We live 20 Minutes away and plan on coming here whenever we have $25 for the tent site and $20 for enough wood for an overnight trip. There are also hiking trails, but I am disabled and did not check those out. This is a family owned place and right away you feel that. The family bartends, mans the gate, hauls your firewood, and calls you by name. There is no WiFi or phone service here but we did not really miss that even! Great Great Great. That is all I can say!
