Mayo Elementary School enrolls approximately 320 students in kindergarten through grade five. It is staffed with a secretary, office assistant, media specialist, school nurse, speech therapist, custodians, cafeteria managers, parent-teacher association officers, school volunteers and teachers. The school s academic curriculum includes math, art and physical education. Mayo Elementary School also features a cafeteria and computer laboratory. Its media center offers a collection of books and reference materials. The school additionally provides a variety of food items for breakfast, including juices, milk, sandwiches, pancakes, burgers and biscuits. Mayo Elementary School also operates an art department.
