Sunshine Children's Home, now known as Sunshine Incorporated of Northwest Ohio, is a nonprofit agency that has been in business since 1994. Sunshine Incorporated of Northwest Ohio serves the housing needs of children with developmental disabilities. The agency offers services for more than 1,000 families annually by providing residential services in Lucas, Fulton, Wood and Allen counties in Ohio. It receives fundraising support from the Sunshine Foundation. The foundation also offers expert advisory services on estate planning-related issues. It provides funds for several capital projects, such as the remodeling of therapy pool and the paving of parking lots. The foundation also offers clothing, adaptive equipment and animal therapy services.
