Clutch went to the floor while driving; pressed the clutch & saw hydraulic fluid leaking at slave cyl. and informed Advanced of my findings & informed them that my clutch was less than 3 yrs. old. The owner of Advanced quoted over $900 for a new clutch since the "slave cyl. was in the bell housing" which it is NOT. I repaired hydraulic line and new slave cylinder for under $60.00!! I'm not one to respond negatively about someone unless I really think that I'm being taken advantage of. My only question is why would they not have checked this out more thoroughly (especially after what I had told them?) I bet if the money had been coming out of their pocket that they would have checked it out better before quoting such a ridiculous estimate. I'm sure they do good work, but I am also made aware that they most likely quote parts that are not necessary because they are in business to make $$$$! That always seems to be the bottom line (not the customers' best interest). Highly disappointed!!!

I wish I could give a negative star rating. My van has now been back for the 4th time for the same repair. They put THE WRONG TRANSMISSION in my car!!! Also, loose bolts that came out caused extensive damage which they are refusing to repair or have repaired. I paid $2000 for the wrong transmission, a weeks worth of lost wages due to not having a functional vehicle, the opportunity to get stranded roadside with two young kids in the car and a whole lot of headaches. Buyer Beware!!!
