I had a problem with my '03 Saturn Ion this week. Drove it work and it wouldn't start about two hours later. Tried to jump it and nothing. I called Smith's because they are just around the corner from my office and walking distance from my apartment. They towed the car.I talked to them the next morning. Apparently, when they got my car off the tow truck it started fine. The ran every test on the battery, alternator and starter they could think of. They checked every electrical connection they could reach without opening the car like a tin can.The mechanic, David, even drove my car home so he could try to start it at the coldest point in the night. It started fine. They only charged me for the tow and half an hour of labor. I know it must have taken longer than that to do all that stuff. They made some excellent recommendations of what to do if it won't start again and to call them immediately so they can walk me through what to do.A less reputable mechanic could have replaced the ba
