Canton Electrical Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee provide classes to installer technicians and inside wiremen. Its course for installer technicians involve installing voice and data outlets at workstations, lay out, installation and verification operation of security and access control systems, and installing punch down blocks and cross connects in telephone rooms. The course also provides instruction on installation of prefabricating systems, such as telecommunications racks for field installation. Its inside wiremen course comprises training in installing the electrical systems and associated wiring in commercial buildings, including lighting, communication and control systems. The inside wiremen course also include topics related to installing electrical systems and associated wiring in industrial buildings.
