This doctor seems to really care about each of his patients. He never makes you feel rushed even when he is obviously very busy.

GREAT DR

My Daughter had several ear issues, some of which required surgery, Dr. Barat explained all of the issues and options to us, he is kind gentle and patient. I used to take her to her pediatrician and she would scream, kick and fight me, because they hurt her trying to get wax out of her ears, now she sits calmly and laughs when Dr. Barat exams her.



The waiting room could use a few more books or toys but that is minor.

Doctor of the Year? Not!

I actually just got home from Dr. Barat's office. I had an appointment for my hyperactive four-year-old daughter who can't hear much because of the excess fluid in her ears. After a 45 minute wait in a non-child-friendly waiting room I was told that if she couldn't settle we would need to reschedule. No, her behavior wasn't great, but honestly, for a child as hyper as she is, she wasn't doing too badly considering how long we had been waiting. It is hard enough getting a child like her out the door. Getting to the next city over, on time for an appointment, without incident is something of a miracle. I have five children, two of which have ADHD, and I will never take any of them to see Dr. Barat. A child who needed help was turned away.
