      Dr. Radu Hagau is a cardiovascular disease specialist with additional training in cardiac imaging. Dr. Hagau received his medical degree from University of Medicine and Pharmacy Iuliu Hatieganu in Romania. He completed an internal medicine residency at Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island, Brown University. Following his residency Dr. Hagau completed two fellowships: the first in Cardiovascular Disease at St. Elizabeths Medical Center, Tufts University, the second in Advanced Cardiac Imaging-Echocardiography at West Roxbury VAMC, Boston University, both in Boston, Massachusetts. He is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, echocardiography, nuclear medicine and vascular ultrasound. Dr. Hagaus clinical interests include cardiac imaging, echocardiography, stress testing, heart valve disease, nuclear cardiology, vascular ultrasound, coronary artery disease, atrial fibrillation, cardiovascular risk reduction.
