HI. MY name is james Duncan. Owner of GLOBALGEARUSA. COM. I AM a full time LAW enforcement officer that has worked in ALL areas of LAW enforcement from patrol to corrections officer. I started MY business in Texas while working AS a deputy. MY friend was trying to purchase NEW gear but was getting frustrated about the high prices that the local dealers where charging. SO I started to DO research into HOW to help HIM find some cheap gear. I found a wholesaler that was like super cheap. But they only sold to retailers. SO I GOT MY state TAX permit under the name of AOK gear. And GOT approved to BUY thru the wholesaler. I GOT MY friend HIS gear AT a real good price. HE spent $100.00 less than ANY of the local dealers. HE suggested I GO into business and sale. SO I DID. I started a small WEB site and began to sale on ebay. With in a FEW months I HAD customers ALL around the world. I was selling gear to officers in Canada. Europe. Japan. Australia. And ALL over the united states. I even supplied gear to some of the worlds TOP tactical and swat teams in places like Switzerland. Germany. And the US armed services. Then the BIG D HIT ME. I went thru a divorce. I HAD to shut down business. Several years went by and I moved several times. Then when I GOT stable again I decided I would start the Company back UP. But. . . . I wanted to make it bigger and better and NEW. SO I changed the name to global gear USA. I then decided to ADD hunting. Fishing. And camping gear. I Also picked UP 4 more NEW suppliers which expanded MY inventory options to over 50.000 products. I AM still a full time officer and I still design and operate the WEB site MY self. The WEB site is a work in progress. Please excuse some areas lacking products but AS time goes on I will have over 2.000 items available on line with more coming and over 50.000 available by request.
