I am 60 and have 4 cats, 4 "wild" cats. I work M-F, sometimes long hours. Weekends are spent with my grandchildren and church. There are seldom visitors to my house so when someone comes, the cats hide. I had not been away overnight for almost 11 years and then decided I needed to start doing something for myself but what should I do with my antisocial cats. They have prescription foods and eat in different rooms behind closed doors. I really did not want a stranger in my house and besides that, the cats would just hide. Then I found it, the perfect place - A Purrfect Place Cattery. We tried it for 3 days. Each cat had a large well maintained cage to itself in a relaxed atmosphere fit only for the King or Queen of cats. The cats were well cared for and even my stubborn Bobbi allowed herself to be petted. The 3 days were a great benefit for me and I had complete peace of mind. My next trip is already planned. Placing my two dogs in a kennel for two weeks was not my main concern, I knew they would be fine. My main concern was my 3 year old calico cat. She had never been away from home before and had never been around cats either. This would be her first big experience and I knew that it would be a little traumatic, but I did not know exactly how traumatic it would be on her. Mike and Rae were EXCELLENT in her care! She had stopped eating, was antisocial and very depressed. After two days of not eating, Mike drove to the Vet clinic, purchased special food and began hand feeding her until she was eating on her own. My sister, who is a Vet Asst stopped by to see how things were going and she was very pleased with the care of my cat and the other cat's too. What a great place for a cat! Clean and very relaxing. When I picked up my cat, she looked good, was sociable and purring. I am so happy that I found a great place for my cat to go. Mike and Rae love cats and it really shows!

Just a wonderful experience all around. Clean, attractive, inviting accomodations. Delightful proprietors who seem to truly enjoy their charges, and take their resposiblity toward them seriously. Our "Wally" had such a good time he didn't really want to come home. Quite a change from his former kennel stays elsewhere. Definitely consider giving your kitty this "spa vacation" while you're away - he/she will love you extra for it!

I highly recommend A Purrfect Place...Rae and Mike are so kind and sincere - I didn't worry about my cat once on vacation and I knew that he was safe. They are cat owners themselves and they treat all the "guest" kitties with compassion. You won't be disappointed!

Immediately upon entering Rae and Mike's home I felt totally at ease knowing Maisie and Toby would receive loving care and attention. They were cared for in immaculate, individual, and spacious condos and received daily playtime. We know we will never have to worry about the "kits" when we leave them in Rae's loving care.

My cat was well taken care of.

We highly recommend A Purrfect Place. They took care of our cat Oscar for 10 days, and he didn't want to leave! It's an extremely clean, well-organized business, and they truly love their customers. Oscar is very pampered at home so we had to find him the "purrfect" boarding for while we were gone. This will be his new home away from home. The owners are so nice, and Mike gave Oscar extra TLC while he was adjusting to being away from home.

I would definitely recommend this place. The owners are true cat lovers who will treat your kitties as their own.

I highly recommend Purrfect Place Cattery. We boarded two cats while we went to Hawaii for 8 days. The owners are just wonderful and you can easily see they have a strong love for cats. The facility was very clean and tidy, and very inviting. Both of our cats seemed very rested and pleased with their stay there. We will definitely use them again and recommend to all of our friends. Purrfect Place Cattery has provided our "Mitzi" a safe, caring, loving and totally immaculate environment while we are away. Mitzi requires medication twice a day and we feel absolutely comfortable and have peace of mind knowing she gets such wonderful care! If it were possible to change the number of stars on the rating...I'd give 1000!! Rae and Mike are truly the BEST!!
