Kurt Riseling started specializing in building decks more than two decades ago. After fifteen years with the same company, he established his own business headquartered in Martinez. He holds a General Contractors license but continues to focus on designing and building beautiful decks for discerning clients throughout Contra Costa County. Some contractors shy away from building larger decks or decks situated on hillsides or other precarious terrain. But Kurt Riseling Construction excels at projects that present a challenge. It’s not unusual for us to be working on a 2000-plus square foot deck, or a deck extending over a cliff. We offer a large selection of natural and synthetic materials that are durable, attractive, and affordable. Unlike some companies, Kurt Riseling Construction doesn’t hire seasonal workers. Our experienced crew has worked together for years. We’ve learned to operate efficiently as a team and we know how to take advantage of each other’s strengths. We are also expert at installing outdoor and low voltage lighting so that you can enjoy your deck at any hour of the day. Our attention to detail goes way beyond what is required by building codes. Consider also the quality of our materials and workmanship and you’d be hard pressed to find a company that can achieve a better finished product.
