Marshfield Animal Hospital is my vet of choice. I have had animals my entire life and they are the BEST vets and animal hospital I have ever experienced. The staff gets me appointments quickly, they send me reminders if needed, the facilities are state of the art and immaculate. The prices are very reasonable and I feel I get tremendous value in terms of experience and care for the price. The doctors are top notch in terms of education, experience and bedside manner. I had to euthanize my cat and could not have gotten through it without the compassion and sincerity of the staff and Dr. Barrow. I highly recommend Marshfield Animal Hospital. Don't believe any rating below a 5 star. This vet is top notch and any disgruntled reviews are a reflection of the type of person writing it.

This is the very best animal hospital around. The staff is caring and understanding and takes the time to listen to every question I pose. I have recommended several family member, friends and neighbors to them and each person I recommend says the same thing - Marshfield Animal Hospital is the best!

Dr. Barrows is not to be trusted. Greedy and unethical but very convincing.

Dr. Barrows will try to charm you but do not trust him. He performed many painless and useless tests on my dog who was very old and sick. He did not know why my dog was sick even after all the tests, however, my dog was very old and the sad truth was that he was dying. Then Dr. Barrows wanted to do "exploratory surgery" on my dog even though my dog would not have survived being under anaesthesia! He basically wanted to experiment on my dog dead or alive and wanted me to pay him for it! When I asked him what the point was to all the painful tests when my dog was so old and clearly dying, he changed his tone and replied: "you signed a waiver that gives me permission to do whatever I want". My dog did indeed die within a few days. Dr. Barrows didn't even remember that a couple weeks later. If I had not been so grief stricken by my loss I would have reported him to the licensing board for his unethical conduct.
