Baked is the most recent confectionary enterprise of former Starr Restaurant pastry chef Corey Taylor and his fiancée Gabriela Kaplanova, whose Linwood, NJ based patisserie uses Old World techniques and the latest in culinary science to create gourmet desserts, petit fours and cakes of incomparable delicacy and flavor. Corey’s uncompromising commitment to baking with the freshest, all natural ingredients and his consummate artistry in presentation culminate in a menu of desserts that never fails to tantalize and delight. Baked is open for business year round, catering parties and festivities of any size.

Dear Mr. Taylor, I would like to thank you for the cake you made for our 32nd anniversary celebration. Between your creation and the additional adornments provided by the staff of the Tuckahoe Inn, my wife was overwhelmed. She was holding back tears of joy when the staff brought the cake to our table and she saw it for the first time. We shared the top portion with the clergy I had invited and took the larger portion to the staff at the hospital where my wife works. They were very much impressed with the texture and of course, the flavor of the cake. They just kept the comments coming on how good the cake was. On behalf of my wife and myself, thank you so very much for your assistance in making this, our 32nd anniversary a lasting memory for our friends and ourselves. I am pleased to have followed the recommendation from the Tuckahoe Inn, in choosing you to make this cake for us. We cannot express how overly satisfied we were.
