I ordered a mountain size sizzling Bacon pizza for delivery today because my husband suggested that mountain mikes pizza used to be really good. Boy was I disappointed. While delivery time was quick, it cost $35 for 1 pizza, plus delivery charge. Yes, the pizza was huge, and could probably feed a family of 5 with leftovers. But for this east coast girl, it was more of a high class pan pizza from pizza hut. I detected none of the supposedly tasty creamy garlic sauce, and the mushrooms olives and green onions far outweighed the amount of sizzlin Bacon. The crust was flavorless and fluffy. I hear that if you join their coupon club, the coupons might actually make eating here worth it. But, Just not my thing, $35 would get me 6 large pies back home in PA made by a little old Italian lady with a secret family recipe. sure, I'm glad I gave mountain mikes a try, but ill save my $35 for east coast pizza.
