Torco, founded in 1954, is one of the largest screw machine facilities in the Southeast United States. The company has a 61,000-square-foot facility at the foot of historic Kennesaw Mountain in metropolitan Atlanta. Torco has single source responsibilities and quality and scheduling agreements with its major, multi-national Original Equipment Manufacturer customers. The company produces parts required of a multi-spindle automatic screw machine, CNC, or vertical machining center. Torco has more than 60 spindle automatic screw machines, Mazak CNC and complete grinding, turning, machining and secondary operations departments. The company makes its own tooling and fixtures. Torco is linked to several of its multi-national OEM customers through Electronic Data Interchange and ships using JIT guidelines, ASN s and bar coding.
