Murdock Elementary School is a public, coeducational institution that provides a variety of educational services for the academic and physical development of children. It enrolls students in kindergarten through grade five. The school s academic curriculum includes several subjects, such as language arts, social studies, science, mathematics, art and physical education. It offers an after-school program that operates as an extension of the instructional day. The school s gifted education program is designed to meet the specific needs of identified students and extend competencies in the areas of cognitive, learning, research and reference, communication and metacognitive skills. Its student support team provides services to students who are experiencing difficulty during the instructional day.
