Dickerson Middle School, located in Marietta, Ga., has an enrollment of approximately 1,200 students. The school offers classes in reading, language arts, mathematics, science, social studies and physical education to students in grades six through eight. Its curriculum also includes art, business, and family and consumer science. Dickerson Middle School s extracurricular activities include music, drama, band, chorus and orchestra. The school additionally provides foreign language, learning disability, accelerated math and music programs. Its other programs include gifted and talented and English for Speakers of Other Languages. Dickerson Middle School offers membership for technology, chess, multicultural, bridge, environmental and recycling clubs. The school is governed by the Cobb County School District.
