I originally visited this office for the first time in march of 2014 for a routine cleaning. During the visit I was told by a dentist that I felt was trying to pressure me into getting these procedures done immediately that I needed 2 root canals and perio treatment. Iv worked in sales my whole life and know when someone is trying to pressure sale me. I was told It required immediate attention. I went to 1 other dentist immediately for a second opinion then another one a few months later, both of which agreed that I did not need perio treatment at all and both teeth could have fillings redone instead of root canals. Dental one made a clerical error when billing my health insurance, they did not provide the correct id # for themselves making them appear out of network. Long story short this caused a large issue with my payment being collected from my insurance company, but it all eventually got worked out. 16 months later Im contacted by my insurance company and told I was improperly reimbursed and I was owed some money. Dental one had no idea of this until I contacted them asking questions. This then turned into me somehow owing them 50 dollars.... after 16 months they think they can come back and say there was a discrepency. Over the course of the following 3 months I spent many hours on the phone with my insurance company and dental one trying to get this resolved, mind you Georgia law states that no health care provider can come back later than 12 months trying to collect a payment for a discrepancy on their part. I was told they did not care what I thought the law was and if I wanted to pursue this then I could have my lawyer open a case for it.............. The management did not care that I was told multiple expensive painful procedures were mandatory to then be told by 2 other practices otherwise. The management did not care that I spent many hours my time dealing with an error that was THEIR OFFICES FAULT. Management did not think repairing a customers horrible experience with their business was worth clearing out 50 dollars. Management told me to hire a lawyer and then sent me a letter in the mail telling me I could no longer use them as my dental provider as some kind of snarky joke, knowing very well I have not been to their practice in almost 2 years. I STRONGLY advise any person seeking dental care to go anywhere else other than Dental One Marietta

Dr. Maria Faler is a really great dentist and her assistants! They're very gentle and nice and they would really assist you in everything... If you have a LOT of question they will not mind answering it because they think about the wellness of your teeth. EXCEPT!! for the RUDE clerk Holly or Amanda or whatever her name was, she told me to hold on for a minute and hanged up on me! I tried to call several times and she's not answering the phone. I had to go over there because I really need to schedule an appointment to have a NEW filling and probably not to get another worst nightmare(ROOT CANAL!) procedure because I got a tooth which is really hurting. And I saw the clerk doing something else... Don't get me wrong I don't mind if the clerk busy I can wait, but she didn't even bother to tell me that she's busy and it was 2 or 3 in the afternoon and their closing time is 5pm i think, because that's what I heard on their answering machine about their schedule. So there's a BUNCH of time for her to schedule for an appointment. When I got there, the other clerks and some other staff were looking probably when they knew that I was the one who called awhile ago and had to go there and waste my time trying to schedule an appointment instead of doing it over the phone... She wasn't able to say anything. She's probably too embarassed to say anything.



Don't get me wrong the dentists in DENTAL ONE are really great dentists... But Dr. Maria Faler is by far the greatest...
