I live in Nashville TN and wanted to get a "Thank you" for an associate who lives in Maricopa for all his hard work. Found out that his favorite eatery was Penascos located in Maricopa. After making a call, all things were in the works, and the certificate was to be placed in the mail on my behalf. Later that day, I received an e-mail telling me that an employee of Penascos had hand-delivered the gift! WOW! Not only had the employee that I spoke with over the phone to make the arrangements been helpful and courteous, he went beyond the call of duty! I have never been to a Penascos restaurant, but if the food is like the service, it has to be AWESOME!!!! When I do get to AZ, this will be one of the first places I will go! A "big shout-out" to "B" who helped me and thanks again for your kindness!! :)

Good food and reasonable prices, One of the better Mexican restaurants with a classy theme in the City.

My wife and I are new to the teeming metropolis of Maricopa. Last night we went in search of food and entertainment. First stop, Native New Yorker, nope, franchise food and watered down drinks. Next stop Brooklyn Boyz Pizzeria, nope, a pizza joint with fake Italian food, Chicken Marsala and bread were both dry. Price was too steep for the menu. The last ditch did the trick! Penascos was a great place!! We haven't tried the food yet because we had already wasted our money and appetites by the time we got to Penasco's. They had live entertainment, a singer, guitar player named Freddie Duran. Turns out he's well known around the valley and is quite the professional musician!! The staff at Penasco's was super friendly and my wife and I really enjoy the intimate atmosphere and freindly people. Tonight we'll go back and check the food out. So far I totally recommend this establishment!!
