today we went to hair focus to get my hair cut, my daughter's hair cut, and my mom's hair colored, cut and styled. we spent almost 200 dollars. our stylist is amazing and that is the only reason we came there because she recently started to work there. however, come to find out while my hair was being cut and my mom had my children in the front, they were treated extremely rude and disrespectfully. my children were yelled at my the man (owners husband I found out later) for spilling a little bit of water. my daughter went to fill her cup up and the man snapped at her and told her no. She is 5 and didn't make the mess, that was her brother. when my mom stood up for her the "man" then proceeded to yell at my mom for not cleaning it up, when she had no idea it had even been made because really the mess was so small a napkin could have more then taken care of it.. her brother asks if he can clean up his mess cuz he spilt a little bit by him (he's 3) so his big brother went and got the rag to clean it. well this so called grown man yanks it from my son's hands and throws it on the floor and puts his foot on it so he can't have it (talk about a man fit). my mom has to get it from him so my child, who is acting more mature than this adult, can clean up water. now, this is the middle of summer and if a child needs some water I don't know what type of adult would deny them and treat clients this way. had i known what was going on I would have left and scheduled with our stylist to do our hair somewhere else.. later my daughter was standing by the products with me sitting less than 2 feet from her, and was asking me about them when he tells her to not look at them and get away and go sit down by me. not knowing what previously happened I was a little taken back by his rudeness but we were about to leave so I just reassured her she did nothing wrong and then kept her away from him until we left. I will never give this company our business again. I am extremely appalled by the way this man thinks it's ok to treat other human beings,especially women and children, with zero decency or respect, all while expecting people to pay him. never again. I love the stylist and the other stylist seem to be nice as well but because of this man we will in the future take our business elsewhere.
