At Arizona Gate Refinishing we encourage all of our potential customers to educate themselves when it comes to deciding to refinish a gate or replace it with a new one. Refinishing costs less than half of replacement; compared to the cost of a new standard sized gate (which can cost anywhere from $550 -$650 installed) you can have your existing gate refinished and looking new starting at just $100! New gates are installed with untreated wood that will soon warp, become gray and moldy in no time. At Arizona Gate Refinishing we install composite slats at no extra charge. If you decide to install natural wood slats Arizona Gate Refinishing will stain and seal the entire slat (both sides and edges) whereas most installers of new gates do not stain or seal the wood. We sometimes hear "I can do this myself for less!" While being a "do-it-your-selfer" is fine and it's true most people can refinish their gates themselves for less than Arizona Gate Refinishing charges it's important to point out that our service is very competitively priced! Our margins are very low for a couple of reasons; first if we charge too much then the cost of refinishing vs new is less desirable and most would opt to install new; secondly by keeping our service fees low the difference between what it would cost in time and materials for someone to do it themselves and what Arizona Gate Refinishing charges most people opt to have Arizona Gate Refinishing do the work. In addition, Arizona Gate Refinishing has developed a refinishing system along with the right tools to provide a cost effective quality finished product to get your gates looking new in a lot less time than doing it yourself.
