The island of Pigeon Key is a historic 5-acre island located in the heart of the Florida Keys! It was once the home of over 400 workers who built the Overseas Railway from Miami to Key West. Today, the island is operated by the Pigeon Key Foundation, a 501(c)-3 not for profit organization. Our Visitor's Center, which is the address listed, is where our trains depart from at 10am, 12pm, and 2pm. Visitors can take part in our guided historical tour, pack a picnic, enjoy our beach front, snorkel or fish (must bring your own gear) or explore on their own. The possibilities are endless and the visit is perfect for people of all ages. Bring the family or your friends to enjoy paradise!
